I did NOT meet my goal of yesterday, of even come too close to it. I'm sad to say that my wordcount is now 17134. On the upside I now have a clean keyboard, something I have, believe it or not, been dying to do for ages. So today it's 20k of ritual suicide... :p Just kidding. Maybe.

PS: The other upside of yesterday was I finally feel like I've injected an actual villain/plot/thing into the story I'm working on. Not to mention I was FINALLY able to assimilate a scene that I wrote up three-four years ago, when I first started the project. I had about five scenes like that and so far have stuck two of them in, and have plans for a third. So this looks fantastic.

The other side, I dunno if it's an up or a down so I'm gonna go with left, is that in the dark recesses of my mind ideas for a sequel are brewing...

Of course that doesn't interest any of you since you don't know what I'm writing and even when it's polished till it glows I'm not sure I'll let anyone but myself read it. But it's kind of exciting nonetheless. :D
