progress

I haven't kept up with this, and even coming back now is for mostly selfish-like reasons... Specifically because I want someplace to keep track of MilWordy progress.

I'll warn you now, I've been doing AWFUL. I guess I needed more than just one month to cool down after November... But if I can pull myself to together I know I can still do it. To show you how badly I've done it's halfway through February and I'm at 14,307 words... From various projects too. Granted my two main ones are most of that, but it's still a pitiful number for this time.

I think I've hesitated posting or talking too much about it because of my mentality. If people know about it they'll know if I've failed, and as I learned my first NaNo sometimes knowing that people will know I failed to epically at something I decided to really do would be more annoying than I could bear.

And don't try to say stuff like 'Oh, it's okay, we wouldn't have held it against you...'

I would have, and I'm using you guys as a tool to get my stuff done. Once this goes up I'll try to keep better progress of MilWordy, even now I'm about to embark on (what I hope will be) a grand writing day. This is just to help my motivation, if nothing else potential shame works as a truly splendiferous fuel.

So, at the start of today 14,307. Here's hoping I can get it to a cool 20k!
